Hong Kong, Shanghai: Stocks open higher

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong shares rose in the opening minutes of trade on Tuesday, tracking advances across global stocks as investors returned from a long weekend break.
The Hang Seng Index rose 0.68 per cent, or 162.02 points, to 24,013.84.
And the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index added 0.23 per cent, or 6.91 points, to 3,055.05, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, was flat, edging up 0.26 points, to 2,033.64.
