Hong Kong, Shanghai: Stocks open lower
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong shares sank at the open on Thursday following hefty losses on Wall Street as the crisis surrounding Donald Trump threatens to throw off rail his agenda to boost the US economy.
The Hang Seng shed 0.71 per cent, or 178.71 points, to 25,114.92.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index slipped 0.71 per cent, or 22.11 points, to 3,082.33 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, dropped 0.75 per cent, or 14.09 points, to 1,853.59.
