Hong Kong, Shanghai: Stocks rally at open

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong and Shanghai stocks extended gains in the opening minutes of trade Wednesday following a rally in New York and Europe and a pick-up in oil prices.
The Hang Seng Index in Hong Kong climbed 0.52 per cent, or 105.08 points, to 20,347.76.
And the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.39 per cent, or 10.96 points, to 2,843.55, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, gained 0.55 per cent, or 9.98 points, to 1,812.25.
