Hong Kong, Shanghai: Stocks slightly lower at open
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks started the day barely moved on Friday as a slight recovery in US stocks was tempered by ongoing worries that Donald Trump's economic agenda could be thrown off course by a crisis enveloping his presidency.
The Hang Seng shed inched down 4.94 points to 25,131.58.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index slipped 0.11 per cent, or 3.43 points, to 3,086.71 while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, was flat, edging down 0.19 points to 1,855.80.
