Hong Kong: Shares close down 0.39%
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks ended 0.39 per cent lower on Wednesday despite a record close on Wall Street and another rally in mainland Chinese markets.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index dropped 108.49 points to close at 27,585.05.
But the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index gained 0.65 per cent, or 28.74 points, to 4,446.29.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, gained 2.03 per cent, or 52.03 points, to 2,619.32.
