Hong Kong: Shares end 0.27% higher
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong shares ended 0.27 per cent higher on Tuesday, adding to the previous day's healthy gains, following another record close on Wall Street.
The Hang Seng Index added 63.58 points to 23,808.28 on turnover of HK$95.95 billion (US$12.38 billion).
In mainland China the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index edged down 0.16 per cent, or 4.00 points, to 2,469.67 on turnover of 331.3 billion yuan (US$53.9 billion).
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second-largest exchange, dropped 2.92 per cent, or 39.91 points, to 1,325.73 on turnover of 243.5 billion yuan
