Hong Kong: Shares end week with sharp loss
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong shares finished a tough week with another loss Friday, tracking an Asia-wide retreat following profit-taking on Wall Street.
The Hang Seng Index shed 0.74 per cent, or 175.35 points, to end at 23,552.72.
And the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index gave up 0.36 per cent, or 11.72 points, to 3,218.31 but the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, added 0.21 per cent, or 4.19 points, to 2,001.91.
