Hong Kong: Stocks build on rally at open
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks climbed in early trade on Monday, extending last week's rally on hopes for central bank stimulus around the world following Britain's shock vote to leave the European Union.
The Hang Seng Index added 0.29 per cent, or 60.83 points, to 20,855.20.
But the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index eased 0.28 per cent, or 8.19 points, to 2,924.29 while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, fell 0.72 per cent, or 14.23 points, to 1,956.49.
