[HONG KONG] Equities in Hong Kong retreated 0.49 per cent Thursday as a late sell-off in Shanghai and lingering concerns about the mainland market offset a second successive rise on Wall Street.
The benchmark Hang Seng index eased 121.47 points to 24,497.98 on turnover of HK$80.17 billion (S$14.2 billion).
