Hong Kong: Stocks close higher

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks advanced Monday, with investors heartened by a positive lead from Wall Street.
The Hang Seng Index rose 0.47 per cent, or 112.34 points, to close at 24,146.08.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index gained 1.18 per cent, or 37.88 points, to end at 3,239.96. The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, increased 0.90 per cent, or 17.42 points, to 1,962.53.
