Hong Kong: Stocks close lower as energy firms fall

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong shares turned lower Tuesday with energy firms again hit by concerns over the outlook for a deal to cut oil output by Opec and other top producers.

The Hang Seng Index eased 0.41 per cent, or 93.50 points, to close at 22,737.07.

The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index climbed 0.18 per cent, or 5.92 points, to 3,282.92 but the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, fell 0.77 per cent, or 16.46 points, to 2,110.36.
