Hong Kong stocks down 0.13% at open
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks lost 0.13 per cent on profit-taking in the first few minutes of trade Tuesday while a sell-off on Wall Street also provided a negative lead.
The Hang Seng Index slipped 35.92 points to 28,397.67.
In mainland China the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index was flat, edging up 1.69 points to 4,529.09.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, added 0.12 per cent, or 2.78 points, to 2,274.06.
