Hong Kong: Stocks down at open
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks extended the previous day's sharp losses as technology firms took another hit while traders are also on edge after it was confirmed North Korea's latest missile test was of a rocket capable of reaching the United States.
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks extended the previous day's sharp losses as technology firms took another hit while traders are also on edge after it was confirmed North Korea's latest missile test was of a rocket capable of reaching the United States.The Hang Seng Index edged down 0.17 percent, or 43.89 points, to 25,345.12.
And the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index shed 0.11 per cent, or 3.58 points, to 3,179.22 while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, dipped 0.10 pe rcent, or 1.83 points, to 1,894.70.
