[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks fell in the first few minutes of trade Thursday as a Trump-fuelled rally across global markets showed signs of petering out.

The Hang Seng Index slipped 0.15 per cent, or 35.49 points, to 24,166.47.

And the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index edged 0.07 per cent, or 2.39 points, lower to 3,258.83, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, barely moved, inching down 0.08 points to 1,990.26.
