[HONG KONG] Hong Kong shares finished 2015 with a gain Thursday but down more than seven percent from a year ago, having been hammered in the summer by China worries while energy firms sank with oil prices.
Hong Kong's benchmark Hang Seng Index added 0.18 per cent, or 39.42 points, to 21,921.57 as traders finished early for the new year break.
