Hong Kong: Stocks end almost one per cent down
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong shares suffered only their second loss in 23 days on Thursday, sinking almost one percent on profit-taking following a series of record closes and as most main Asian markets went into reverse.
The Hang Seng Index shed 0.92 per cent, or 304.24 points, to 32,654.45.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index lost 0.31 per cent, or 11.16 points, to 3,548.31 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, fell 0.39 per cent, or 7.63 points, to 1,953.30.
