Hong Kong: Stocks end lower as recovery peters out
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks ended with fresh losses on Wednesday as an initial rebound from the previous day's five per cent collapse fizzled out.
The Hang Seng Index slipped 0.89 per cent, or 272.22 points, to close at 30,323.20.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index lost 1.82 per cent, or 61.39 points, to 3,309.26. The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, fell 0.68 per cent or 11.70 points to 1,714.39.
