[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks ended the week barely moved but managed to eke out a sixth-straight gain as a record close on Wall Street was offset by losses in energy firms caused by a slump in oil prices.

The Hang Seng Index inched up 8.49 points to 25,639.27.

The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index edged up 0.07 per cent, or 2.23 points, to 3,110.06 but the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, eased 0.10 per cent, or 1.79 points, to 1,810.11.
