Hong Kong: Stocks extend gains at open
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks built on the previous day's rally Tuesday morning on growing confidence market favourite Hillary Clinton will beat Donald trump to become the next US president.
The Hang Seng Index added 0.79 per cent, or 180.51 points, to 22,981.91 at the open.
And the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index gained 0.24 per cent, or 7.61 points, to 3,140.94, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, added 0.31 per cent, or 6.36 points, to 2,073.17.
