Hong Kong: Stocks extend gains at open
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks opened slightly higher on Tuesday morning, extending gains into a fourth straight session following yet more records across Wall Street's main indexes.
The Hang Seng Index inched up 0.05 per cent, or 15.78 points, to 28,708.58.
But the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index slipped 0.16 per cent, or 5.24 points, to 3,373.23 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, lost 0.19 per cent, or 3.80 points, to 2,002.15.
