Hong Kong: Stocks extend rally at open
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks opened with fresh gains on Monday morning, extending last week's rally as concerns about rising US interest rates abated around the world.
The Hang Seng Index climbed 0.84 per cent, or 261.12 points, to 31,528.29 in early trade.
And the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.56 per cent, or 18.28 points, to 3,307.30, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, climbed 0.51 per cent, or 9.14 points, to 1,784.31.
