Hong Kong: Stocks flat at open
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks were barely moved in the first few minutes of trade Monday as investors brushed off a forecast-beating US jobs report at the end of last week.
The Hang Seng Index inched up 2.80 points to 25,343.65 at the open.
And the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index lost 0.30 per cent, or 9.50 points, to 3,208.46, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, slid 0.21 per cent, or 3.94 points, to 1,914.19.
