Hong Kong: Stocks open 0.18% higher

    [HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks climbed 0.18 per cent in the first few minutes of trade on Friday following gains on Wall Street, while dealers await the release of key US jobs data later in the day.

    The benchmark Hang Seng Index added 42.72 points to 24,235.76.
