Hong Kong: Stocks open flat after six-day rally
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks started Friday with a whimper as investors wound down for the weekend following a six-day rally and a tepid lead from Wall Street.
The Hang Seng Index was flat, inching down 7.19 points to 24,691.29.
And the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.26 per cent, or 8.17 points, to 3,144.02, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, shed 0.24 per cent, or 4.47 points, to 1,895.56.
