Hong Kong: Stocks open lower
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks edged lower Thursday in opening exchanges with energy firms sold with oil on uncertainty over the prospects of a deal to cut crude output.
The Hang Seng Index slipped 0.45 per cent, or 101.87 points, to 22,574.82.
And the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index eased 0.11 per cent, or 3.71 points, to 3,237.43, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, was down 0.12 per cent, or 2.66 points, to 2,126.85.
