Hong Kong: Stocks open lower on Monday

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks began Monday with losses, while Shanghai opened flat.
The Hang Seng Index shed 1.05 per cent, or 299.36 points, in the opening minutes of trading, to 28,304.25.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index dipped slightly 0.06 per cent, or 2.05 points, to 3,369.69, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, edged up 0.02 per cent, or 0.39 points, to 1,976.31.
