Hong Kong: Stocks open slightly higher

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks started Wednesday with marginal gains following a record close on Wall Street.
The Hang Seng index added 0.05 per cent, or 12.27 points, to 25,864.37.
But the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index dipped 0.22 per cent, or 6.99 points, to 3,146.75 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, slid 0.12 per cent, or 2.19 points, to 1,857.69.
