Hong Kong: Stocks open slightly higher
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks pushed their rally into an eighth straight day on Wednesday as investors tracked another record close on Wall Street.
The Hang Seng Index edged up 0.14 per cent, or 36.87 points to 26,561.81.
But the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index opened 0.19 per cent lower, or 6.17 points, at 3,181.40 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, dipped 0.22 per cent, or 4.02 points, to 1,807.31.
