Hong Kong: Stocks open slightly higher on Tuesday
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks edged up in early trade on Tuesday, pushing their rally into a seventh straight day, but gains were tempered by concerns about Donald Trump's economic agenda as he struggles to pass key healthcare legislation.
The Hang Seng Index rose 0.07 per cent, or 18.94 points to 26,489.52 at the open.
But the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index shed 0.53 per cent, or 16.73 points, to 3,159.73 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, fell 0.47 per cent, or 8.53 points, to 1,792.01.
