Hong Kong: Stocks sink, extending painful sell-off

[HONG KONG] Shares in Hong Kong ended more than one per cent lower Friday, extending an almost four per cent loss the previous day, as a devastating week for global markets drew to an end.
The Hang Seng Index fell 1.22 per cent, or 226.22 points, to close at 18,319.58.
