Hong Kong: Stocks start day with fresh gains
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong shares rose in the first few minutes of trade Friday morning, extending a rally that has seen them hit successive records this week.
The Hang Seng Index edged up 0.12 per cent, or 38.31 points, to 32,160.25.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index added 0.20 per cent, or 6.87 points, to 3,481.62 but the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, dipped 0.05 per cent, or 1.02 points, to 1,923.18.
