Hong Kong : Stocks start Friday with gains
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks rose at the open of trade on Friday after a rebound in US markets, with technology and energy firms leading the way.
The Hang Seng Index added 0.47 per cent, or 137.99 points, to 29,505.05.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index dipped 0.07 per cent, or 2.37 points, to 3,297.69 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, edged down 0.08 per cent, or 1.48 points, to 1,903.57.
