Hong Kong: Stocks tack on 9th straight win

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks chalked up a ninth successive gain on Thursday, tracking an across-the-board record in New York as traders cheered strong US corporate earnings.
The Hang Seng Index rose 0.26 per cent, or 68.05 points, to 26,740.21.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index added 0.43 per cent, or 13.88 points, to 3,244.86 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, gained 0.48 per cent, or 8.91 points, to 1,847.97.
