Hot stock: Cityneon volume spike prompts SGX query
A SPIKE in volume during early trading for mainboard-listed event services provider Cityneon Holdings on Friday has led the Singapore Exchange (SGX) to issue a query to the company.
At around 10.10am, the bourse said in a filing that there had been "unusual volume movements" in Cityneon shares on Friday.
The counter was up 8.1 per cent or four Singapore cents to 53.5 Singapore cents with about 8.1 million shares traded as at 10.43am.
That volume, logged in less than two hours of trading, eclipsed the counter's daily traded volume of 2.1 million shares on Thursday and 5.7 million on Wednesday.
The stock is poised to see its heaviest trading volume since 30.3 million shares changed hands on Nov 11 last year.
