Hot stock: Ezra falls amid high volumes, attracts SGX query
SHARES of Ezra Holdings fell 5.2 per cent to 5.5 Singapore cents on Friday, as trading volumes of the counter surged.
Some 158.3 million shares of the offshore support provider had changed hands as at 10.07am, drawing a query from the Singapore Exchange (SGX). By the end of the session, some 291.9 million shares had been traded, making it the most actively traded counter of the day.
On Thursday, Ezra was also one of the most active counters on the SGX, jumping nearly 35 per cent or 1.5 cents to close at 5.8 cents, with 182.1 million shares traded.
