London: Stocks steady at open as eurozone indices rise

[LONDON] London's stock market steadied at the start of trading on Tuesday, while top eurozone indices advanced.
London's benchmark FTSE 100 index dipped a couple of points to 7,521.57 points compared with the close on Monday.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 index climbed 0.4 per cent to 12,938.04 points and the Paris CAC 40 gained 0.4 per cent to 5,330.58.
