    MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 5.79 points to 1,822.67.

    Volume was 3.935 billion lots worth RM3.287 billion.

    Gainers outnumbered losers 643 to 389.
