MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Friday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 6.86 points to 1,609.33.
Volume was 2 billion lots worth RM1.7 billion.
Losers outnumbered gainers 400 to 381.
