Malaysia: shares close higher on Monday

MALAYSIAN stocks closed higher on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 19.04 points to 1,857.32.
Volume was 2.35 billion shares worth RM1.88 billion.
Gainers outnumbered losers by 824 to 193.
