Malaysia: Shares close higher on Monday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 11.300 points to 1710.240.

Volume was 2.476 billion lots worth RM2.267 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 522 to 378.
