    Malaysia share prices closed higher on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 2.11 points to 1,713.25.

    Volume was 2.4 billion lots worth RM2.5 billion.

    Gainer outnumbered loser 476 to 376.
