Malaysia: Shares close higher on Thursday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 19.780 points to 1,737.140.

Volume was 3.399 billion lots worth RM3.618 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 666 to 286.
