    MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 3.740 points to 1,781.650.

    Volume was 2.093 billion lots worth RM2.256 billion.

    Losers outnumbered gainers 602 to 269.
