Malaysia: Shares close lower on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Friday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 2.33 points to 1,641.42.
Volume was 1.24 billion lots worth RM1.41 billion.
Gainers outnumbered losers 414 to 306.
