MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Monday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 17.41 points to 1,853.07.
Volume was 2.7 billion lots worth RM2.8 billion.
Losers outnumbered gainers 966 to 167.
