    MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 4.510 points to 1,693.840.

    Volume was 2.902 billion lots worth RM2.5161 billion.

    Losers outnumbered gainers 643 to 297.
