    MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 2.670 points to 1,783.660.

    Volume was 1.609 billion lots worth RM1.992 billion.

    Losers outnumbered gainers 457 to 406.
