    MALAYSIAN shares closed lower on Thursday with the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index dropping 15.87 points to 1,805.10.

    Some 1.6 billion lots, valued at RM2 billion, were traded. Losers outnumbered gainers 437 to 319.
