    MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 8.400 points to 1,652.990.

    Volume was 1.327 billion lots worth RM2.318 billion.

    Gainers outnumbered losers 397 to 369.
