MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 7.03 points to 1,821.60.

Volume was 4.6 billion lots worth RM3.3 billion.

Losers far outnumbered gainers 764 to 274.
